LOGAN — The Logan Downtown Alliance announced The Best of Show entries for the annual Parade of Gingerbread Homes in Downtown Logan. The winners were decided by the public with more than 2000 ballots cast during the 23rd anniversary of this traditional Christmas event.
Gary Saxton, the executive director of the Logan Downtown Alliance, was happy with the entries and the participation from the public.
“We have some good and fun Gingerbread creations every year,” he said. “There were a lot of families downtown looking at the different entries. It seems like it is getting to be a fun family tradition.”
This year, each architect winner will take home $100 in prize money.

This year’s winners of the Best of Show in the Professional Category are:
- Sue Ann Salmon’s “Time for Christmas” on display at The Sportsman located at 129 North Main Street.
- Cynthia & Samantha Russell, “Us in the Kitchen” can be seen at the Curate Company located at 26 South Main Street.
- Presidio Real Estate, 19 West Center Street has on display Robyn & Blake Rusch’s creation, “Christmas on Crockett Avenue.”

In the Community Category, The Best of Show architects are:
- Cindy Atkin’s “Joy to the World” on display at Global Village Gifts located at 53 East 100 North.
- U&I Furniture located at 28 West 100 North has the work of Muyly Miller’s creation of “Smithfield Implement Co.”
- Steve Tracy, “Music – It’s Out of this World” was on display at Seasons at Mill Creek located 92 West 100 South.
The gingerbread creations will remain on display at the host locations through December 31, 2022.
