May 19, 1929 – January 22, 2024 (age 94)
On Monday, January 22, 2024, Dolores (Lory) Ruth Bradshaw passed away peacefully in her home, and returned to live with her Heavenly Father. Lory was a choice and beautiful spirit, who blessed the lives of all who came in contact with her. She will be greatly missed.
Lory was born on May 19, 1929 in Asbestos, Quebec, Canada to Thomas and Ethel Basterash. When Lory was 2 years old, her family moved to the twin port cities of Duluth, Minnesota and Superior, Wisconsin, where she grew up.
On December 17, 1949, Lory married her sweetheart, John H. Bradshaw. They were blessed with two sons, John H. Bradshaw and Jeffrey F. Bradshaw, affectionately known as Chip and Skip.
After being introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Visalia, California, Johnny and Lory were baptized September of 1969. They were subsequently sealed on September 12, 1970 in the Los Angeles Temple. They served in many callings through the years, including ordinance workers in the Logan Temple.
John and Lory moved from Visalia to Hyde Park, Utah in 1980, then in 2006 moved to Logan.
Lory is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, January 29, 2024 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan.
A viewing will be held prior to the service at 10:30-11:30 am.
