LOGAN – Democratic congressional candidate Peter Crosby will host a local town hall gathering on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
That event is slated to take place in the Logan Library at 7 p.m.
The candidate invites local residents to join that gathering to learn more about his grass-roots campaign against three-term GOP incumbent Rep. Blake Moore in the newly redrawn 2nd Congressional District.
Crosby is a first-generation college graduate who earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees in political science from Utah State University.
He has stated that he is running to restore neighbor-to-neighbor, values-driven leadership to Utah’s 2nd Congressional District.
By refusing to accept corporate political action committee money, Crosby says his grassroots campaign is focused on bringing real cost-of-living relief, restoring political accountability and protecting Utah’s public lands and watersheds.
The Democratic hopeful’s candidacy has recently been buoyed by polling by the Deseret News and the Hinckley Institute of Politics at the University of Utah that revealed a rising tide of anti-incumbency sentiment among Utah voters, with approval ratings of several high-profile Republican officials declining.

The Logan Library is located at 285 North Main Street in the downtown area.
