Cynthia Lynn Vincent, of Clarkston, Utah, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the age of 73.

Cynthia was born May 30, 1948 in San Bernardino, California. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Clydene Clark. Shortly after Cynthia was born her family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Cynthia then graduated from Cyprus High and then attended the University of Utah.

In 1969 Cynthia married Donald Vincent in Salt Lake City. After they were sealed in the Laie Hawaii Temple they moved to Columbus, Ohio. While Donald was serving in the Army during the Vietnam conflict, Don Jr. was born in Utah. They moved back to Ohio, when Donald returned, where Kimberly, Kerri, Derek, and Kellina were born. In 1997, Cynthia moved back to Utah, where she transferred to the U.S. Postal Service at the airport. After retiring from the Post Office, she finally was able to work with children. She was a mentor with Cache County Schools, after settling in Clarkston. She loved the kids she worked with and would always bring them a little treat.

Cynthia loved serving The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Most of her service was with the primary, yet she also was involved with the scouts, Relief Society and choir. Cynthia loved to sing and was always happy to play the piano.

She was the kindest soul and loved without reservation. She would always help others and was an example of charity, love and service. Her heart was too pure for this world and she will be missed.

Cynthia leaves behind her children Don Jr (Michele), of Brigham City, Utah; Kimberly (Richard) Johnson, of Clearfield, Utah; Kerri (Riley) Bailey, of Clarkston, Utah; Derek (Nina), of Grove City, Ohio; Kellina (Jeff) Whiting, of South Jordan, Utah. She also left behind her siblings, Robert (Dawn) Butcher, Bunny Arnold, Rob (Ronda) Clark and Larry (Kelly) Clark. Cynthia has 29 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, along with many friends that she loved.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Karyssa and Ryker, and her sister, Karen Clark.

We want to thank the Clarkston and Smithfield Fire Department for helping Cynthia. Dr Swami and staff at the Huntsman, and the friends that showed up the day she passed to bring comfort to her family.
