October 1, 1951 – May 9, 2022 (age 70)
Clinton Eugene Baugh, 70, of Providence UT, passed peacefully on May 9, 2022. Born October 1, 1951, to Clinton Lofthouse Baugh and Edna Josephine Cheney Baugh, he was the oldest of four children. Clinton, better known as Gene, had a strong work ethic that was valued in the many jobs he held over the years from farming for Robert Wright to working various construction and roofing jobs. The last 17 years of his career were dedicated to long-haul trucking in support of our nation’s supply chain, working for Miller Brothers Express/Super T Transport.
Gene enjoyed many activities including attending AA meetings and events, four wheeling, riding dirt bikes, playing poker, taking his kids on work trips, and of course teasing all who crossed his path, especially his loved ones. Gene was the guy that would give you the shirt off his back and lend a helping hand with anything and everything.
Gene is survived by his children, Rafael Baugh, Christopher Baugh, and Rose Marie Baugh, as well as his sisters, JoDee (Mike) Myers, Smithfield; Bonita (Bob) Skiby, Richmond; and Kelley (Rob) Biewend, Turner, OR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Edna Baugh, and his son, Clinton Benjamin Baugh.
Funeral services will be held on May 20th, 2022, beginning with the viewing from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Cache Valley Mortuary, 80 W 4200 N, Hyde Park, UT 84318.
The graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at the Wellsville Cemetery 400 N 200 E, Wellsville, UT 84339.
