HYDE PARK — It’s about time to summon all princesses and prince’s to the 2024 Princess & Prince Party to be held Saturday, February 10th at Castle Manor (170 W 3900 N) in Hyde Park. On KVNU’s For the People program last week, philanthropy director for the Family Place Utah, Jennifer Anderson, told us about this year’s party.
“It is an incredible, magical event that we do, and of course the perfect location is Castle Manor for it. So, as you approach this beautiful venue, it literally is a castle, and from the moment you arrive you just kind of teleport into this magical space. All of the participants have a wonderful time every year.,” Anderson explained.
As in past years, there are two sessions – 10a.m. to Noon or 1p.m. to 3p.m
“And it’s more of an Open House-type format, so you check-in and there’s various stations for people to go to, to interact with these characters. We have activities and crafts, there’s snacks, we have dancing, it is fantastic. We highly encourage people to dress up however they would like as their favorite royalty, or they can come as they are and being royal without dressing up.”
The characters she mentioned are the princes and princesses that will be there, including Elsa, Belle, Cinderella and more.
Tickets are $20 dollars and include one child and one adult entry. The event is expected to sell-out, so get your tickets now at TheFamilyPlaceUtah.org .
