LOGAN — D.L. Evans Bank has awarded $2,625 to the Cache Valley Humanitarian Center (CVHC) as part of its 2024 Employee Directed Donation Initiative. The program allows bank employees to nominate their favorite non-profits in Idaho and Utah to receive $2,500 donations, with a 5% bonus added in the name of the nominating employee.

David Mumm, a senior commercial loan officer and branch manager at the Logan branch, selected the CVHC for the donation. The center works with 26 local organizations and three school districts to meet community needs, providing items such as back-to-school kits, hygiene supplies, winter clothing, and books for a Navajo library.

The initiative reflects the bank’s commitment to supporting local causes through employee involvement.

The donation is the latest made by the bank this year. In June, a number of Northern Utah organizations received similar donations, including Cache Community Food Pantry, Catholic Community Services of Utah and Habitat for Humanity Northern Utah.
