NORTH LOGAN – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that in 2023, for the first time in five years, there was a decrease in national drug overdose deaths in the United States.
That is not true for Utah.
Overdose deaths are on the rise in Utah and drug misuse is still a public health crisis in the nation.
To be part of the solution to these challenges Cache Valley Hospital will partner again with Cache Valley law enforcement agencies to host a “Crush the Crisis” drop-off location.
The Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, October 26.
