CACHE COUNTY – In the days leading up to the 2025 general session of the Legislature, Cache County residents are invited to meet with Utah Rep. Casey Snider (R-Avon) to discuss their concerns.
The local Republican Party has announced that Snider will conduct a listening tour of the southern portions of Cache Valley from Monday, Jan. 6 to Tuesday, Jan 14.
That tour will include meetings with residents at the Wellsville City Offices from 6 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6; at the Providence City Offices from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10; and at the Hyrum City Offices from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
Snider represents House District 5 in the Legislature, which includes the southern portions of Cache Valley. With the recent retirement of Rep. Dan Johnson, Snider is also now the senior member of the Utah Legislature who represents Cache Valley’s interests.
A resident of Avon, Snider is a rancher and volunteer firefighter. He was appointed to the Utah House of Representatives in October 2018 and subsequently won re-elections in 2020, 2022 and 2024.
Snider currently serves as the assistant majority whip of the Republicans in the Legislature.
