LOGAN – The Cache County Democratic Party is inviting local residents to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America with them at a traditional barbeque on June 27.
Their Red, White and Blue America 250 BBQ will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Merlin Olsen Park in Logan.
The Democratic organizers of the event say it will offer hot dogs, chips, watermelon and apple pie for all comers, plus yard games, a patriotic costume contest and more.
The event is free, but a $5 per person donation is encouraged to help defray the cost of the food for the barbeque.
