LOGAN – The informal partnership between the American Festival Chorus & Orchestra and GENTRI will continue in concerts scheduled for Saturday, July 19.

Entitled A Million Dreams, the event will feature the AFCO and the so-called Gentlemen Trio performing the very best of Broadway tunes.

Those concerts will take place in the Daines Concert Hall on the campus of Utah State University at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

GENTRI is one of the AFCO’s most popular partners and their collaborations with the chorus always result in unforgettable entertainment, according to Dr. Craig Jessop, the founder of the AFCO.

The concert schedule promises to perform hits from local audience favorite musical productions, including Wicked, Les Misérables, The Greatest Showman, The Phantom of the Opera and many others.

Founded by Jessop in 2008, the AFCO has become a leading artistic voice in northern Utah by enriching the lives it touches through performance, education and appreciation of choral art.

The chorus brings together more than 200 singers from a 90-mile radius, including talented voices from the local community, USU faculty and outstanding university students.

The orchestra is a 65-piece professional ensemble composed of faculty from the USU Music Department, professional musicians from throughout the region and select USU students.

Established in 2014, GENTRI is comprised of three dynamic tenors: Brad Robins, Casey Elliot and Bradley Quinn Lever.

The unofficial “fourth” member of the trio is Stephen Nelson, an award winning composer, arranger and music producer.
