BRIGHAM CITY, Utah — A mobile home was destroyed by an accidental fire Tuesday evening, drawing a large emergency response near 400 North Main Street in Brigham City.

Weber Area 911 dispatch received the report of the blaze at approximately 7:10 p.m. When crews from the Brigham City Fire Department, along with mutual aid partners from Tremonton, North View, and Garland, arrived on the scene, they encountered heavy fire conditions.

Efforts to contain the blaze were complicated by downed power lines, which Brigham City Public Power successfully mitigated. No civilian casualties were reported, though two dogs and one cat perished in the fire.

The Brigham City Fire Department, which was assisted by the Brigham City Police Department, determined the cause of the fire to be accidental. Authorities expressed gratitude for the coordinated response from the multiple agencies that assisted in containing the incident.
