LOGAN — A person is recovering after an A-T-V crash near Logan Peak Thursday evening.
The Logan City Fire Department and Cache County Search and Rescue teams responded to the rugged mountain area just before six p-m. Emergency crews worked together to safely extricate the victim from the crash site.
Officials say the rider was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Fortunately, authorities report the injuries are non-life-threatening.
The exact cause of the accident and the identity of the victim have not been released. Local fire and rescue teams are using the incident to remind all off-road enthusiasts to exercise caution, stay on designated paths, and wear proper safety gear while navigating steep mountain trails this summer.
