LOGAN — Law enforcement are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of a white pickup truck that was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run incident that sent a vehicle crashing into a building Monday afternoon.
According to the Logan City Police Department, the incident occurred on Dec. 29 at approximately 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of 1400 North and 800 East.
Officers report a car was traveling westbound on 1400 North when the driver of the truck failed to yield the right of way. In an attempt to avoid a collision with the truck, the driver of the car took evasive action, lost control of the vehicle, and struck Ruby’s Pizzeria & Grill on the corner of the intersection.
The driver of the truck fled the scene immediately following the accident.
