LOGAN – Utah State University’s popular STEM outreach program, Science Unwrapped, is back after a summer break with its new Joining Forces series.

Brynja Kohler, associate dean in the College of Science, is the Science Unwrapped chair. She said the new series will explore the synergy and innovation that develop from collaboration in science activity.

Admission is free and inquiring minds of all ages are welcome.







Science Unwrapped

The first in a series of presentations is Friday, Sept. 13 with learning scientist Hillary Swanson of USU’s Department of Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences. She will speak in the Eccles Science Learning Center on campus about “How Do We Learn and How Should We Teach?”

Dr. Swanson’s talk at 7 p.m. in the Emert Auditorium will be followed by refreshments and hands-on learning activities in the atrium led by student and community groups.
