June 8, 1954 ~ September 16, 2023 (age 69)

Betty Cheron Fountain was born on June 8th, 1954, to Jess and Edna Needham. She was the 6th out of her nine siblings. She was born and raised in Ogden, Utah and graduated from Ogden High School with the class of 1972.

Cheron married Bracey James (Jim) Fountain on April 7th, 1979. Jim drove a semi-truck for several years and Cheron loved to go out on the truck with him. She often talked about how much she missed those days of going on those trips. She loved to travel and for a number of years took a two-week trip with her sister Janie, and her niece Teri. They had so much fun traveling all over to visit family in other states and seeing places they always wanted to see.

Cheron was not able to have children of her own, so her nieces and nephews became her children. Her life was spent helping raise so many of them and it was her greatest passion. She loved to go camping and so many of her favorite camping trips were the big family reunions her family held each summer. Being with her family and her babies became all she lived for. Cheron was a devout Christian and was a member of the Alpine Church (West Haven Campus). She loved without end and will be missed dearly by all that knew her.

Cheron is survived by her 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Janie Watson, Bill (Lois) Needham, Jess Duke (Billie) Needham, GaeLynn (Ron Tesch) Davenport, Bud Needham, and Edwin (Tamra) Needham. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

Cheron is preceded in death by her husband Jim, her parents, sisters Michele Goehring and Larae Kite as well as her brothers-in-law Dave Watson, Dean Goehring and David Kite.

Aunt Ronnie, you will be missed beyond measure, until we meet again, we love you!
