TREMONTON – Post Consumer Brands, a cereal manufacturing company in Tremonton, is holding its annual sale to benefit the United Way on Saturday, September 30th starting at 7 a.m. at the Box Elder County Fairgrounds.

Mitch Anderson suggested people bring cash and arrive early. The cereal costs $1.50 per bag or box with a limit of 50 per person; they will accept Venmo.

“We will have some of our more popular brands for people to buy at a discounted price,” he said. “The sale usually lasts for three to four hours.”

For over a decade the Post and United Way of Northern Utah cereal sale has been big in the Bear River Valley. There are some 15,000 packages of cereal in a trailer ready to be grabbed up and purchased.

All funds generated by the sale will benefit the entire community.

The beneficiaries of Post’s donations include:

  • Tremonton Food Pantry
  • Brigham City Food Pantry
  • Acts Six Soup Kitchen
  • Oneida Crisis Center
  • Boys & Girls Club
  • Family Support Center

Post Consumer Brands has been a longtime supporter of the community where their employees live and work. The United Way of Northern Utah appreciates the donations and recognizes the impact the sale will have on the local nonprofits and the community members they serve.

Post Consumer Brands is a local employer and national brand, and it’s their goal to both feed families across North America and support the communities where employees live and work.
