May 22, 1943 – February 28, 2022 (age 78)

Wynn Alan Christensen, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 28, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at the Brigham City Community Hospital. He was born on May 22, 1943 in Brigham City, Utah, a son of Wynn Crompton and Berneice Stokes Christensen. Alan graduated from Box Elder High School in 1961. He served in the US National Army Guard for eight years. Alan married the love of his life, Juanita Ammons on July 14, 1967 in Brigham City, Utah and their marriage was later sealed in the Logan Temple on July 14, 1969.

Alan worked at Everton Mattress, he was self-employed working in upholstery and then continued at La-Z-Boy Manufacturing retiring in 2002. After retirement, Alan “worked” at Eagle Mountain Golf Course. Alan enjoyed golfing, hunting, bowling, archery, gambling and doing puzzles. His favorite pastime was watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He spent most of his days supporting his loved ones at a ballpark, on a field, or in a gymnasium. Alan’s greatest gift was the love and devotion to his wife and family.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita; three children; James (Stacee) Christensen of Tremonton; Julee (Charles) Wright of Fielding; Jed (Korina) Christensen of Brigham City; nine grandchildren; Jayden (Krystal) Christensen, Casadee (Clint) Tubbs, Caitlyn (Zach) Christensen, NiKayla Williams, Brayden Williams, Zac Davis, Nicole Davis, Marlee Christensen, and Jayslin Christensen and one great granddaughter; Ridley one brother Steven (Lennidean) Christensen and one sister, Ann Christensen.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harvey Christensen.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Brigham City 12th Ward, 139 E 300 N.

Viewings will be held on Thursday, Mar. 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 E 200 S., Brigham City, Utah and at the church on Friday from 10:00 to 10:40 am.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans of Box Elder County Honor Guard.
