Randy Jacobson took home $160,400 from the Idaho Lottery recently.
WESTON – Randy Jacobson, a resident of Weston, won $164,400 plying the Idaho Lottery Draw Game at Woodward’s Country Store on June 29, 2022.
“You get two plays for $1,” said Jacobson. “It has great odds and it’s only played in Idaho.”
Jacobsen matched the required five numbers for a single draw to win the jackpot. Players match all five numbers selected for a single draw. Jacobson did just that, matching all five numbers from the June 29, 2022, drawing.
Jacobson claimed the fifth largest jackpot in Idaho Cash history when he visited lottery offices in Boise on July 15.
“I checked my ticket the very next day after the draw and I couldn’t believe I’d won,” he said. “I just hoped I had checked it correctly.”
Jacobson said he plans to pay off some bills and then put the rest into savings.
Woodward Country Store receives a bonus from the Idaho Lottery for $16,040 for selling the winning ticket.
