LOGAN – Even though Sunday, July 21st is National Ice Cream Day, Utah State University’s Aggie Creamery will kick off the summer celebration a few days early at its new location across from USU’s football stadium.

The public is invited to join in on a “Cow to Cone” celebration hosted by USU’s Aggie Creamery on Friday, July 19, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Aggie Ice Cream shop’s newest location at Aggie Blue Square (1111 N. 800 East) in Logan.

The first 400 people will get a free mini scoop of Aggie Ice Cream. There will also be educational activities for the whole family including a petting zoo, balloon animals and face painting.

In September 2023, USU’s Aggie Creamery said it opened an additional location to shorten lines and add more campus jobs for students and offer better access to students and to athletics. Aggie ice cream has been sold on the USU campus for more than 100 years and that once included a small store in the Animal Science Building on the north side of the quad.
