LOGAN – State officials are warning local motorists of new travel restrictions on SR-30 (also known as 200 North or Valley View Highway) starting on Monday, July 28.

The intersection of 1900 West and SR-30 will be closed for up to two weeks starting that day to allow for reconstruction of that junction, according to officials of the Utah Department of Transportation.

While through traffic on SR-30 will not be impacted during that closure, drivers wanting to access 1900 West from SR-30 will be obliged to detour at 1000 West, then use either 200 South or 600 South to continue.

UDOT advises that trucks and heavy vehicle traffic should follow the signed detour route to 600 South to reduce turning movement conflicts.

State officials also remind motorists that construction schedules are weather-dependent and therefore subject to change.
