LOGAN – It’s nearly spring, which means that Construction Season is about to resume in northern Utah.

Road crews from the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will begin reconstruction of the four corners of the intersection of 1000 West and 200 North on Tuesday, Mar. 17.

State officials say that the reconstruction effort will take approximately one week and is slated to take place nightly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Motorists passing through the busy intersection are advised to slow down and use caution in the area west of Logan’s downtown.

UDOT officials explain that the work will begin on the southeast corner of the intersection (labeled A on the reconstruction map), before moving onto the remaining corners. Multiple closures will be in effect at the same time in the intersection.

Motorists are advised that right turns will be allowed during the reconstruction effort, but only from combined through/turn lanes.
