BANNOCK COUNTY, Idaho – A two vehicle crash sent six people to the hospital with various injuries. The accident occurred Thursday, Jan. 25, around 2 p.m. south of Pocatello.
Idaho State Police report a 48-year-old woman from Lava Hot Springs was driving south on I-15 in a Chevrolet Equinox. Near milepost 65, she came upon traffic being moved to a single lane due to a separate crash.
A Ford F150, driven by a 60-year-old woman and a 72-year-old passenger from Soda Springs, was also traveling south on I-15 when the Equinox rear ended the Ford.
Police report that both vehicles went off the road. The Equinox overturned before coming to a stop.
All occupants were wearing seat belts except the passenger of the Ford.
All six were transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance.
The Idaho State Police was assisted by Pocatello EMS.
This crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
