LOGAN — A 30-year-old Logan man suspected of multiple burglaries, theft and drug possession charges has accepted a plea deal, pleading guilty to reduced charges.

Roy Meyer appeared in 1st District Court Thursday afternoon for his preliminary hearing on 17 charges.

Meyer pleaded guilty to seven charges including one charge of theft, a second-degree felony, five charges of burglary, a third-degree felony and possession or use of a controlled substance, also a third-degree felony.

Judge Brian Cannell ordered Meyer to appear again in court for sentencing May 20.

Cache County Sheriff’s Lt. Mike Peterson said Meyer and his girlfriend, Kaitlin Blakeslee, 23, are responsible for multiple robberies in Cache, Salt Lake and Duchesne counties.

Meyer is being held in the Cache County Jail on a $50,000 bail after being arrested on March 10.

Blakeslee was arrested March 11 and is also being held in the Cache County Jail on a $50,000 bail.
