SMITHFIELD – State officials are warning night-time motorists in Smithfield to be aware of a construction project on Main Street through the end of July.
State workers will begin a project to install a new median curb on U.S.-91 (Main Street) in Smithfield, according to officials of the Utah Department of Transportation. The new median will stretch from 800 South to 1000 South.
That work is scheduled to be accomplished between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. on the evenings of July 29, 30 and 31.
UDOT officials are warning night-time motorist in that area to expect lane closures and delays of up to 15 minutes through the end of July.
