LOGAN – Sound of Ages, a choral group, will be performing a free community concert at St. John’s Episcopal Church located at 85 E. 100 S. in Historic Downtown Logan. The Spring Evensong Concert will take place on Saturday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m.

The musical group has been hailed as “a transcendent vocal powerhouse,” celebrating the timeless power of the human voice through consummate ensemble singing and inventive storytelling.

Sound of Ages performs quarterly concerts, loosely patterned after choral Evensong in the Anglican/Episcopal tradition or Vespers in the Catholic tradition.

In the concerts, Song of Ages will mix elegant, contemplative choral music from across centuries with inspiring, often humorous, nondenominational spoken-word narrations.

Presented by Logan Downtown Alliance in partnership with Sound of Ages and St. John’s, this special performance features the acclaimed ensemble Sound of Ages.

Free tickets can be reserved at http://www.logandowntown.org/sound-of-ages-concerts.html.
