CACHE COUNTY – The public is invited to a reception honoring the newly elected Cache County officials who will be sworn-in on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
That event will take place immediately after the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for 5 p.m. in the County Council Chambers at the Historic Courthouse in downtown Logan.
The oath of office will be administered by the Honorable Brian G. Cannell, the presiding judge of the First District Court in Logan.
The only new members to joint the ranks of county elected officials will be Keegan Garrity, the newly elected member of the county council representing residents of Logan Seat 1, and Matthew C. Funk, who will serve as the County Auditor.
Officials who were re-elected to their posts were Barbara Yost Tidwell to Logan Seat 2 on the County Council; David Erickson to the council’s North District; Nolan P. Gunnell to the council’s South District; Brett Robinson as County Assessor; Taylor Sorensen as County Attorney; Tennille Johnson as County Recorder; and Craig McAllister as County Treasurer.
County Clerk Bryson Behm was sworn into office by Elections Supervisor Michelle Stanger on Monday, Jan. 6 due to a family obligation.
Refreshments will be served during the reception following the swearing-in ceremony.
The Cache County Historic Courthouse is located at 179 North Main Street in Logan.
