PROVIDENCE – City officials here have announced that overnight lane closures will be in effect on State Road 165 through Friday, Oct. 9.
Providence official are advising local motorists that only one lane will be open both southbound and northbound on SR 165 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through Oct. 9 to accommodate work on the intersection at 1200 South.
Access to local businesses will be maintained during the overnight hours, however.
The construction work will be paused on the weekend, allowing all lanes to reopen at 6 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 2 through 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4.
All traffic lanes will be open between the hours of 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays, including westbound only traffic on 1200 South.
