LOGAN — A Logan chiropractor previously charged with dozens of felonies is facing additional charges related to the alleged sexual abuse of his patients during the past 10 years.

Evan J. LeFevre, 58, was charged Friday in Logan’s 1st District Court with four additional counts of second-degree felony forcible sexual abuse across two new cases. He was initially arrested in December 2025 and charged in February with 30 counts of forcible sexual abuse. LeFevre is being held without bail at the Cache County Jail.

Defense attorney Shannon Demler said he had been waiting for prosecutors to file the latest charges. He noted the cases have been “trickling in” over the past two months, making it difficult to start moving forward.

In total, LeFevre now faces 38 felony charges involving 23 victims, with reported incidents dating back to 2018. According to the Logan City Police Department, more than 45 women have come forward during the investigation to report inappropriate conduct. Some of the alleged misconduct fell outside the statute of limitations, while other reports did not meet the legal threshold for criminal charges.

The latest allegations follow a pattern outlined in previous charges, in which women seeking chiropractic treatment for pain were allegedly sexually assaulted during their visits.

In one of the newly filed cases, a victim reported seeking treatment for sciatic pain and migraines between February and December 2025. She alleged that during her first two appointments, LeFevre pulled down her pants and applied lotion with his bare hands, and during subsequent appointments, he applied lotion to her breast with an ungloved hand.

In the second new case, a victim who visited LeFevre once in the fall of 2025 alleged he unhooked her bra, placed his hand beneath her clothing, and touched her inappropriately.

The earliest incident reported in the overall case allegedly occurred in July 2018. That victim, an employee at LeFevre’s practice, reported that he touched her inappropriately and sent overtly sexual text messages. Several other victims have reported similar experiences of LeFevre placing his hands under their clothing during treatments.

LeFevre is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on Monday morning.
