LOGAN – A pilot training program for Utah State University’s statewide campus directors launched in June.

The new 10-month program, consisting of monthly meetings, continues until March of 2025. It is designed to explore professional competency areas for student affairs professionals.

James Y. Taylor, vice president for Statewide Campuses, said USU is always looking for ways to help employees grow and that is the goal of the new series.

Program leaders are Andrea Hunt, assistant vice president for Statewide Campuses, and Priscilla Arungwa, director of student services at USU Blanding.

The “Directors’ Professional Competencies Series” features guest presenters who will join the conversation.
