BANNOCK COUNTY, Idaho — Idaho State Police are seeking public assistance following a single-vehicle crash Wednesday night involving a semi-truck on northbound Interstate 15.

The collision occurred at approximately 8:46 p.m. near milepost 73 in Pocatello. Investigators say a 47-year-old man from Brigham City was driving a 2022 white Kenworth semi-truck when an unidentified white box truck merged abruptly into his path. To avoid a collision, the Kenworth driver veered right and struck an impact attenuator.

The semi-truck came to a stop across the Exit 73 off-ramp, blocking the lane for roughly three hours as recovery crews cleared the scene. No injuries were reported in the crash.

The Idaho State Police, assisted by the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office and the Pocatello Police Department, are still investigating the incident. Anyone with information regarding the unidentified box truck or the driver is urged to contact ISP dispatch at 208-239-9808.
