NORTH LOGAN – A Rally for Remembrance pickleball tournament is scheduled here on Tuesday, July 28.
Sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Research Center at Utah State University, all proceeds from that event will benefit the Utah Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, according to Anna Sadler, a spokesman for the advocacy center.
“Even for those who do not play pickleball,” she emphasizes, “the event promises to be a fun summer evening for the whole community.
“The tournament – set for Meadow View Park in North Logan – will run from 4:45 to 9 p.m. and feature local food trucks, a tribute wall and raffle prizes donated by Cache Valley businesses,” Sadler adds.
Organizers of the tourney are calling on local pickleball players of all skill levels to register for the mixed doubles event. The entry fee is $30 per team and the registration deadline is Monday, July 20.
To register for the tourney prior to July 20, teams should go online to https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfNqIAdrXdtqfqVY3fsgpM0RhntCmW9_VZ4Z53C52LZf-2W0A/viewform
Sadler explains that community members who wish to support the Alzheimer’s cause but cannot attend the tournament can also sponsor a pickleball court for $75 or make a direct donation via Venmo to @RallyForRemembranceUT2026
