BRIGHAM CITY – One of Brigham City’s biggest assets is its peaches and its biggest celebration is Peach Days. The historic Main Street is filled with blankets and chairs saving places for Saturday’s 10 a.m. parade. The annual celebration started in 1904 as a day-off to celebrate an abundance of peaches and it continues to this day.

“Tagge’s Fruit and Veggie Farms has a peach stand on the corner of Main Steet Forrest St.,” she said. “This is the busiest time of year for the fruit stands on the highway.”

Tagge’s not only has fresh handpicked peaches, but they also have peach jams, peach salsa and other peach specialties.

We are expecting over 35,000 visitors this year,” she said. “We already have 870 cars signed up for the Saturday’s car show that will be held Watkins and Pioneer Parks at 800 W. Forest St. and we have a Harley and custom motorcycle show.”

Saturday night Waiting For James will take the stage. They are a family band that claims to play just about any style of music and harmonize in a way that only a family can. The concert will also be on stage at 7:30 p.m.

City of Fun Carnival will give the children the thrill of riding a merry-go-round or the teenager the thrill of more aggressive rides.

Holdoway said their Peach Days T-shirts are a big hit with people at the festival.

We have people buy and collect our Peach Day T-shirts,” she said. “We have a new design every year.”
