LOGAN — A 31-year-old Nibley man has admitted to using his phone to record in a Utah State University locker room and filming young boys in a Clearfield bathroom. Ian Mark Bradley accepted a plea deal in both cases and will be sentenced next week.

According to court records, Bradley appeared May 5 in Logan’s 1st District Court. Prosecutors explained how 10 charges were being dismissed in exchange for the defendant’s guilty plea to two counts of voyeurism, a third-degree felony, in the Davis County case.

On Oct. 8, 2024, Bradley was caught placing a phone between a wall and a door to a shower stall in a locker room on the USU campus.

He fled the area prior to law enforcement arriving at the locker room. A short time later, university staff advised police that Bradley had returned. The employee was able to identify the defendant to police.

On Nov. 1, felony charges were filed in 2nd District Court for an incident that had happened in November 2023. Officers report that they were dispatched to the Clearfield Aquatic Center where witnesses said Bradley was “in the men’s locker room taking photos and videos, angling a camera toward a boy using the urinal.”

Two victims, both boys under the age of 14, were identified as being recorded. Bradley’s phone was seized, and investigators say they found 21 videos and 39 photos taken in the locker room, showing “both adult males and juvenile males in various stages of undress.”

More photos and videos were found on Bradley’s phone “of the same nature from restrooms at other locations.”

According to court records, Bradley is currently out of jail on $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to be sentenced in 2nd District Court on May 20, and could face up to ten years in prison.
