LOGAN — Logan City is beginning demolition of the Logan Library building at 255 North Main Street. The demolition phase will take about one month, during which 300 North will be closed to thru traffic from Main Street to 100 West.
Pedestrians will be re-directed to the east side of Main Street or to 100 West between 200 North and 400 North. The parking lots for City Hall and the Post Office will still be available and can be accessed from 200 North and 100 West as usual.
Motorists are urged to please slow down while traveling in the area. Construction vehicles may be entering and exiting frequently. So the city advises for the safety of all, to please give them room.
The Logan Library opened their temporary location at the Logan City Service Center (950 W 600 North)on January 31st. The new library structure is expected to be completed by Spring or Summer of 2023.
