LOGAN – The first national touring attraction of the New Year at the Ellen Eccles Theatre will be the Aluminum Show on Monday, Jan. 27.

Sponsored by the Cache Valley Center for the Arts, the new and unique Aluminum Show will bring together an unlikely mix of materials, music and artists to the Cache Valley stage.

The result will be a magical, mystery-filled production combining visual theater, dance and humor into an exciting, multi-sensory experience the likes of which local audiences have never before seen.

The Aluminum Show is the brainchild of three Israeli artists – writer/comedian Lior Kalfo, choreographer Ido Tadmor and director Llan Azriel.

Through the use of special effects, creative mechanics and acrobatic dance, their collaborative vision brings inanimate objects to life with energy, emotion and even personality in a visit to a luminous and reflective world of silver-colored industrial materials.

The Aluminum Show becomes the story of one man’s incredible journey to a parallel universe – a futuristic planet made entirely of aluminum.

Aluminum pipes come to life right before the eyes of the audience, transforming into imaginary, mysterious and playful characters.

The show is suitable for all ages and all languages, according to Wendi Hassan, the Cache ARTS’ executive director.

The Aluminum Show is part of the 2024-25 National Touring Season at the Ellen Eccles Theatre.

Hassan says that Cache Valley audiences should prepare to be captivated by the wide variety of shows coming here during 2025.  From the mesmerizing artistry of acclaimed modern dance troupes to the soul-stirring melodies of years past, there will be something to please every artistic palate.

“Whether you’re a seasoned theater aficionado or a first timer,” she adds, “we invite you to join us in creating memories that will last a lifetime.”

Tickets for the Aluminum Show can be purchased online at https://cacheARTS.org
