LOGAN — A 40-year-old Millville woman has admitted to taking pornographic pictures and videos of a teenage girl, and then exchanging them with other teenage boys on Snapchat. Heidi Marie Williams was arrested in September 2025 after reportedly telling investigators that what she did was common and how she grew up.

According to court records, Williams appeared Jan. 26 in Logan’s 1st District Court. She accepted a plea deal, pleading guilty to two counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, a first-degree felony. As part of the agreement, 18 remaining charges were dismissed.

Cache County Sheriff’s deputies received a report in April 2025, explaining how Williams would use the victim’s phone, force her to remove her clothing, and take pornographic photos and movies of her. The child sexual abuse material was then traded with boys, in exchange for similar pictures of themselves.

A case worker with the Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) interviewed Williams and the victim, a relative of the defendant. They both denied the claims.

Deputies later spoke to other individuals who also reported Williams had taken pictures or videos of the victim’s bare chest and in her underwear. The teen girl was in sexually suggestive poses, according to charging documents.

Williams would then reportedly use the victim’s phone or social media accounts to pose as the teen girl. She would send the photos and videos to teenage boys in exchange for pictures of their genitals.

Deputies obtained a warrant to search the victim’s Snapchat account. They reportedly found numerous pornographic images and videos. Similar material was found in a Snapchat account registered to Williams.

On Sept. 10, 2025, law enforcement served a search warrant to William’s home and again questioned her. Deputies reported she eventually admitted to taking the videos and pictures, “citing that she thought this was normal behavior as this was how she grew up.”

Williams remains in the Cache County Jail being held without bail. She is scheduled to be sentenced March 11, and could face up to life in prison.
