Lorraine Lundquist Hulet passed away peacefully at age 95 in South Jordan, Utah, on April 22, 2023. Lorraine was born March 25, 1928, in Malad City, ID to John F and Anna Leah House Lundquist and was the oldest of six children. She married Ray Hulet for time and eternity in the Salt Lake City Utah LDS Temple on November 23, 1949.
Lorraine was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life. Lorraine and Ray were called to serve an LDS Church mission in 1990 and served 18 months in the Philippines Baguio Mission. In 1996, Lorraine and Ray were called and set apart as ordinance workers in the Logan Utah LDS Temple where they served until released in 2008.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Diane Daly of McDonald, PA; her five sons: Dennis (Debbie) of Lake Stevens, WA; Gary (Dorinda) of Azle, TX; Rodney (Connie) of Upland, CA; Donald (Kaysee) of Heber City, UT; and Carl (Shanna) of The Woodlands, TX; 32 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; and her three sisters (Beverly, Karen, Sandra), and youngest brother (Ron).
Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, Ray; her parents; her brother (Floyd), her son-in-law Ron Daly, Jr; and two grandsons (Joel Hulet and Michael Hulet).
Funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 6, 2023, in the Smithfield 11th Ward chapel, 79 East 200 South in Smithfield.
Friends may visit from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Saturday at the church.
Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery.
