Lorin Mitchel Evans 1959 – 2023
Lorin returned to his heavenly home on August 23rd after a courageous 10-year battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Born in Provo, UT June 11, 1959 to Richard Neil and Beverly Evans, Lorin grew up in Clinton, UT and worked for his father in the surplus aircraft parts business, Evair Inc. He moved to Brigham City about 20 years ago and would continue managing the parts warehouse in Sunset while his brother Wesley managed the business from Texas. He married and later divorced.
Lorin loved watching NASCAR races, he was very good at woodworking and building other things including a miniature train set in his house and restoring a 1947 Ford. Soon after, that car was featured in a car show and he won the coveted ‘Rat Fink Award’ for best in show.
He is survived by his sister Teresa Stevenson (Mont), and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who love him very much.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and older brother Wesley.
