LOGAN — The Rotary Club of Logan will host its annual Golf ’n Ribs fundraiser June 11 at the Logan Golf & Country Club, with proceeds supporting scholarships for local students and educational programs in northern Utah.
The event begins with a scramble shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. and serves as one of the organization’s primary fundraising efforts for education-related initiatives.
According to the club, all proceeds will benefit the Logan Rotary Foundation and be used to provide scholarships for area high school students attending Utah State University and Bridgerland Technical College. Funding also helps provide school supplies and dictionaries for hundreds of third-grade students in Cache and Rich counties.
Teams can register as a golf foursome for $500, which includes golf, a cart, tee prizes and a rib lunch. A lunch-only option is available for $45.
The event will feature smoked ribs prepared with Floyd Jarvis’ famous dry-rub recipe.
Rotary officials said the annual event reflects the organization’s longstanding commitment to supporting local education.
“Logan Rotary’s Golf and Scholarships go hand in hand at their annual Golf and Ribs Fundraiser,” the club said in announcing the event. “All proceeds are dedicated to furthering the education of local students.”
