LOGAN – City officials here have issued a traffic advisory for the intersection of 1400 West that provides access to the Logan Landfill and Environmental Department.
Starting on Oct. 13, the south side of the State Road 30 (200 North) and the 1400 West intersection will be closed for reconstruction and repaving as part of the ongoing SR-30 project by the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT).
State officials say that work is expected to continue through the end of October, with additional lane shifts and closure coming soon.
These changes will affect daily traffic, truck routes, and local access — especially for those traveling to the landfill or environmental offices.
During that work, drivers will need to use Cache Parkway, at approximately 1300 West, to access 1400 West and the Logan Landfill during the closure.
Motorists in the area should be prepared for no turns from SR-30 onto the southbound 1400 West. Traffic on SR-30 (200 North) will be restricted to one lane in each direction and the speed limit will be reduced to 50 miles per hour.
State officials advise motorists to plan ahead, follow posted signs and drive safely through the work zone.
