LOGAN – City officials have announced the closure of a section of 600 East on Wednesday, May 17.
Starting on that day, 600 East will be closed to traffic from 500 North to 1200 North.
The purpose of that closure will be for the Logan Street Division to perform road grinding, according to city officials.
The closure will move north on 600 East as the required work and cleanup is completed.
While through traffic will not be permitted on 600 East throughout the day, city officials said that local traffic will be allowed, safety permitting.
The closure due to road grinding is expected to be completed on Wednesday.
