LOGAN – Edge Excavation and Edge Trucking has been acquired by Sunroc Corporation, a subsidiary of Clyde Companies, Inc. Sunroc provides construction services and supplies materials such as concrete, asphalt, and masonry with locations throughout the intermountain west and headquartered in Spanish Fork, Utah.
“Edge Excavation and Edge Trucking is the perfect addition to the Sunroc family,” said Mark Elder, president of Sunroc in a statement. “This acquisition allows us to enhance our capabilities and provide even greater value to our customers as we grow in Cache Valley and northern Utah.”
Edge Excavation and Edge Trucking, based in Logan, operates from Preston, Idaho, to Brigham City, Utah. The company has completed projects for organizations such as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Beaver Mountain Resort, Utah State University, the Utah Department of Transportation, and the City of Logan. The acquisition includes nearly 100 full-time employees.

Sunroc operates in Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming and has been in business since 1938.
