LOGAN — Little Lambs Foundation for Kids will be a big part of Novemberfest this Friday and Saturday, November 29th and 30th at the Cache County Events Center.
On KVNU’s For the People program this week, Little Lambs co-founder Ted Chalfant, along with his wife Stephanie, talked about their start 10 years ago.
“Little Lambs was founded in 2014 with one goal, and that was to provide comfort, hope and essentials to children and families in crisis throughout Utah.
“One of the great things is we started in the basement of our Nibley home in 2014 and our initial goal was, we were going to help 40 to 50 children that were transitioning into foster care,” he said.
Now, 10 years later, Chalfent said they are providing over 630 local families with diapers, wipes, formula and other essentials each month.
Little Lambs will be among the vendors at Novemberfest to raise awareness and accept donations.
Also the Cache Valley Kids Market will be at the event.
Committee member Lindsay Johnson said the market provides a space for young entrepreneurs from ages 5 to 17 to sell their creations.
At Novemberfest, they have been offered 20 vendor booth spaces for their kids to be able to sell their items alongside the other 100 vendors that are signed up for Novemberfest.
