May 31, 1950 ~ March 10, 2024 (age 73)

Kitty Kay Roberts was called to Heaven on March 10, 2024. Kitty was born in Safford, Arizona on May 31, 1950 to Robert and Nada Johns. Kitty and her parents later moved to Morenci, Arizona, where her two brothers were born, before they finally moved to Jerome, Idaho where she graduated from Jerome High School in 1968. She graduated from the College of Southern Idaho in 1971 where she studied accounting. She also attended Ricks College and BYU where she met her future husband, Gary Udell Roberts. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple on September 2, 1971. They lived in Burley, Idaho, where they had their first two children. They then moved to Montpelier before settling in Liberty in 1978.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she held multiple positions in the Primary and with the Cub Scouts. Her last calling was as a Librarian in the Liberty ward. She also worked for Bear Lake Middle School as a Lunch and a Resource Aide.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nada Johns, a brother, Lance Johns, and a nephew Dustin Johns.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Udell Roberts, her brother Tanner Johns (Barbara), sister-in-law Robin, and her children, Travis Roberts (Marci), Wendy Neville (Michael), Melany DeClark (Brice), Dale Roberts (Misty) and Cory Roberts (Jolynne). Her heart overflowed with love for her 12 grandchildren, an even split of 6 boys and 6 girls, that meant the world to her. She is also survived by countless extended family members.

The family will be available for a visitation on Monday, March 18th, from 10:00 to 11:45 at the Liberty Ward Church followed by the funeral at 12:00.

She will be laid to rest in the Liberty Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
