Kathryn Marble Turner, beloved wife, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Logan, UT on March 5, 2024, following a brief yet courageous battle with cancer. She was 79 years old.

Kathryn was born on June 23, 1944, in Tremonton, UT, to the late Grant Marble and Lavinia Barnard. She spent her formative years in Collinston, UT, where she cultivated a love for nature and the outdoors. After graduating from Bear River High School and Seminary in 1962, Kathryn pursued her passion for hairstyling, graduating from Beau La Reine cosmetology school. She embarked on a fulfilling career as a hairstylist, starting at Dream Girl Salon and later owning her own establishment, Katies Hair Corner, which she ran until 2017. Her dedication to her craft and her clients was unwavering, and she continued styling hair at Revive Salon and Spa in Logan until her final days.

In 1968, Kathryn married Horace “Lynn” Turner, and together they made their home in Wellsville, UT. They shared a love for the outdoors, often spending their time hunting, fishing, and camping. Kathryn was a skilled sharpshooter and took great pride in the trophy bull elk she shot. Together, they also raised a menagerie of beloved pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

In addition to her career and outdoor pursuits, Kathryn was a talented crafter, expertly crocheting and knitting handmade crafts for loved ones. She had a generous spirit and delighted in creating gifts for newlyweds, babies, and anyone she thought would appreciate her handiwork.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Oleen and Bryan, sister LuAnn and niece Sharece.

She is survived by her husband Lynn, her brother Reese and his wife Mary of Riverside, UT, her sister Ilene Tracy of Brigham City, UT, her sweet dog Tiny and many nieces and nephews.

Kathryn will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and zest for life will forever be remembered and cherished.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Celeste, Kristy, Cheryl and her family from Revive Salon and Spa for their kindness and compassion shown to Kathryn during her time of need.
