The driver of one of the vehicles was life-flighted from the scene by a helicopter, while the other driver was transported by ambulance but later determined to be flown to a neighboring hospital due to the severity of their injuries.

While emergency crews were responding to the crash and gas leak, another traumatic medical incident in Willard occurred.

The Brigham City Fire Department thanked Corinne Fire, Brigham City Police, and Public Works for helping with the gas leak incident. Willard Fire, Utah Highway Patrol, BCPD, Perry Police Department, LifeFlight, AirMed assisted in the motor vehicle accident. Firefighters also thanked Box Elder County Dispatch Operators, who handled the phone calls, and radio traffic for all of the incidents.
