Our dear son, grandson, brother, uncle, and nephew Gavino Ulises Gallegos-Lopez passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023. He was born on June 13, 1993, to Arturo Lopez-Trejo and Yvette Angela Gallegos in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Box Elder High School, Class of 2011.
Gavino was a member of the Catholic Church.
He worked for Autoliv for 8 years.
He was a foster parent to 4 kids, ages 10, 8, 7, and 5. He was always loving and caring for those kids. Gavino enjoyed playing soccer, video games, camping, and joking around. He also loved his dream car: a Dodge Challenger.
Gavino is survived by his mother: Yvette Angela Gallegos; stepfather: Mark Young; siblings: Hugo Armando Lopez and Angela Marie Nielsen; stepbrother: Sean Young; grandparents: Maria P. Gallegos and Felipe Leal; aunts: Georgia L. Gallegos and Teresa Lopez; uncles: Zackary L. Gallegos, Lucio Lopez, Juan Lopez, and Ruben Lopez.
He is preceded in death by his father: Arturo Lopez-Trejo.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah.
A Viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment will follow in the Willard City Cemetery.
