August 9, 1963 – June 11, 2023 (age 59)

Gary Paul Baron, a talented and compassionate soul, traded his earthly classic car collection for a celestial ride on June 11, 2023. Born on August 9, 1963, in Brigham City, Utah, a son of Dale and Melva Siegfried Baron. Gary was always the life of the party, with a witty sense of humor and a creative touch that could turn any old jalopy into a work of art. He earned his bachelor’s degree in fine arts which reflected in his ability to paint a picture, drum a tune, or explore the world with zest. Gary truly lived a life as vibrant as the designs of his beloved vintage cars.

Gary’s passionate heart wasn’t just reserved for his hobbies; it extended to his faith as well. A dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served a mission to Cali, Colombia, from 1982 to 1984. Gary’s advice to all was “Enjoy”. This is a testament to how he lived his life, finding joy in the small moments, and sharing that joy with others.

The family would like to thank Daisy & Brandi Hadfield, Nikayla, and Karl for their tender loving care of Gary.

Gary is survived by his daughters, Maigan Bowler and Adaline Baron; his grandchildren, Myzia Bowler, Trent Baron, and Jameson Baron; his siblings, Betty (Mark) Cowley, LaVon Rose, and Bobby (Linda) Baron. He now joins his parents, Melva and Dale Baron, and his son, Kristopher Baron, in the great beyond.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Gillies Funeral Chapel, PO BOX 704, Brigham City, UT 84302 to offset funeral expenses.

Viewings will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 6:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah, 84302.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 11:00 am at the same location.
