PRESTON – A regular meeting of the Central Committee of the Franklin County Republican Party has been slated for Thursday, Aug. 8.
The purpose of that meeting will be to fill vacant GOP precinct seats, according to Todd Thomas, the chair of the Franklin Republican Party.
Those vacant party posts are in the Preston 4,
Preston 5, Mink Creek and Treasureton precincts.

The Central Committee meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Preston City Council Room.
The Preston City Council Room is located at 70 West Oneida St. in Preston.
